Finn Wolfhard Biography (Introduction): Finn Wolfhard is a Canadian musician and actor born on December 23, 2002. His best-known role was that of Mike Wheeler in the Stranger Things Netflix series, which ran from 2016 to the present. In addition, he played Trevor Spengler in the supernatural comedy Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) and its follow-up Ghostbusters: The Frozen Empire (2024), and Richie Tozier in the horror movie It (2017) and its sequel It Chapter Two (2019).

Actor Finn Finn revealed in June 2021 that he was blackmailed into confirming his relationship with girlfriend Elsie Richter, after he was threatened by devoted fans to not reveal her address unless he publicly acknowledged their relationship. In April 2021, the couple was spotted at an NBA game together.

Finn Wolfhard Career

Actor and musician Finn Wolfhard is known for his diverse acting career. His first acting appearance was in Vancouver band Facts’ 2012 music video “Retro Oceans”. In the second season of the post-apocalyptic science fiction series The 100, he made his television debut in 2014 as Zoran. The following year, he played Jordy Pinsky in Supernatural.

Wolfhard won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2016 when he began playing Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series Stranger Things. His first music video featured the song “Sonora” by the band Spendtime Palace, which he co-directed with Josh Ovalle in 2017. In the 2017 adaptation of Stephen King’s It, he played Richie Tozier, marking his feature film debut.

Finn Wolfhard Music and Advocacy

Wolfhard, the former lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter of Vancouver rock group Calpurnia, started a new band called The Aubreys with drummer Malcolm Craig. His 2020 film, The Turning, featured the Aubreys on its soundtrack for the first time.

The singles “Loved One” and “Smoke Bomb” were released in August 2020, followed by his debut EP, Soda & Pie, in March 2020. He released his second single, “Sand in My Bed”, in February 2021 after working with Lunar Vacation on “No Offerings” in January 2021.

His debut studio album Karaoke Alone was released in November 2021. In May 2017, Wolfhard hosted a benefit concert to raise money for Sweet Relief, which aids struggling musicians in need of medical care, as part of his advocacy for autism and Indigenous children.
